Gitlime operates on a performance-based model. We agree on specific, measurable Lighthouse score targets before starting any engagement. If we do not achieve the agreed-upon targets due to our work, you are eligible for a refund as outlined below.
A refund may be issued under the following conditions:
Unmet Targets: The agreed Lighthouse performance targets were not met after the sprint delivery.
Attribution: The shortfall is attributable to Gitlime's work and not to third-party platform limitations, client-side changes, or external dependencies.
Access Provided: The client has provided reasonable access to staging environments, codebases, and hosting infrastructure as required for the engagement.
If agreed Lighthouse targets cannot be achieved due to platform limitations (e.g., Shopify's server-side constraints, mandatory third-party scripts, or CMS restrictions), we will transparently communicate the limitation and adjust the scope fairly. In such cases, a partial refund or credit toward future work may be offered instead of a full refund.
Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:
Client Changes: The client made changes to the website after optimization that negatively impacted performance scores.
Third-Party Scripts: Third-party services or scripts added by the client after delivery caused regressions.
Deployment Delay: The client did not deploy the optimized code to production within 30 days of delivery.
Free Audits: Free audit services are complimentary and carry no financial obligation.
To request a refund, email us at gitlime@outlook.com within 14 days of sprint delivery. Include your project details and the specific targets that were not met. We will review the request within 5 business days and respond with a resolution.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method. Partial refunds will be calculated proportionally based on the scope of unmet targets.
If there is a disagreement about whether targets were met, both parties will refer to the documented before-and-after Lighthouse reports generated during the sprint. Google PageSpeed Insights will serve as the authoritative benchmark for score verification.
